CLUB RIDES SUNDAY 13TH APRIL (PARIS-ROUBAIX)
I`ll start by saying something I haven`t said for a while, the forecast for Sunday looks good
There are 3 definite groups and 1 possible going out.
The possible group will be a Fast group with Dr Dave if the numbers are there. It will be going up the Wye valley and the definite route will be decided on the day.
BERNARD will be taking the Steady group. I cannot give a route as it`s a mystery tour so it could be flat, it could be hilly but it is a steady ride so everyone will be fine. It`s 65 miles to Chepstow for coffee and back.
PETER will take an Intermediate group across the flats to Newport up to Usk and over to Raglan for a coffee. He will be coming back via Bettws Y Newydd and the lanes to Maindy. 65 miles with 1 climb.
SKIPPER will be making the yearly trek over the Tumble and back. This group is for everybody and will go at the pace of the slowest rider. Please make sure you are capable of riding 75 miles, with a few lumps and a big one in the middle. Cwmcarn for a coffee on the way back.
If the weather as forecast is good there may be large numbers at Maindy. If this is the case then please be patient whilst we try to arrange more groups and into manageable numbers.
As with all rides please make sure you have adequate food, drink and spares with you (I have a car full to give out after last weeks ride)
