Club Ride – Sunday 7th October

As there are lots of riders doing the Audax on Saturday and the forecast for Sunday is awful, the numbers are likely to be down, but here are the proposed routes for Sunday.

FAST GROUP with ALEX TUCK

Maindy, Newport, Chepstow, Shirenewton, Usk, Caerleon, Newport, Maindy. 65 miles 1 lump going out mainly rolling.

FASTER MIDDLE GROUP with DARREN GILL

Maindy, Pontypridd, Treorchy, Bwlch, Llangeinor, Ewenny(cafe), Ogmore, Rhoose, Barry, Wenvoe, Maindy. 68 miles 1 climb and a lump going out mainly rolling back.

SLOWER MIDDLE GROUP with MARTYN LOCK

Maindy, Rumney, Michaelston, Dreathen, Rhiwderin, Rogerstone, 14 locks, Coed Eva, Cwmbran, Goytre, Llanover, Raglan(cafe), Usk, Newport, Castleton, Maindy. 72 miles 1 lump out but mainly rolling.

BEGINNERS GROUP with BERNARD BROWN

This group is for BEGINNERS ONLY! Bernard has asked for helpers with this group but from the responses I`ve had there may be more helpers than beginners. It is suggested that if this is the case, a steady ride should be arranged as well as this ride. Bernard`s group will go between 25-40 miles and will be flat.
