Monday Autumn Training – (September to November)
Track Bike sessions September. They will continue for around 10 weeks while the weather is kind. The sessions will not run if it is raining.
Session starts at 7.30pm. If you do not have your own track bike and need to borrow one, arrive for 7pm and bring pedals with you and we will find one to suit. First come first served borrowing bikes, priority to Ajax members.
This session is endurance based and will cater for all abilities. If you haven’t ridden a fixed wheel track bike before let the coach know and they will run though the basics with you. You will practice alone before you join in with the group.
Cost £2 for members, £3 for non-members.

Monday Winter Training – (November to March)
7.15 – 9pm Maindy Track
Training will be divided into two groups.
Above the blue line – Intervals and race training.
Below the blue line – Introduction to riding on the track and endurance training. Beginners welcome.

General notes.
This session is open to all Ajax members and all beginners (it is not necessary to belong to a club). Riders from other clubs should check with Mark as numbers are limited and the session is popular. Ajax members will be given priority.
This session is for road bikes – no fixed wheel is permitted.
Helmets must be worn at all times on the track.Beware when crossing the track to enter or leave by the gate.
Monday Summer Training – (April to September)
In April, 6.30 From Maindy
Ride from Maindy at 6.30pm down the flats to Newport at a steady pace. At least three hard intervals by LG, suitable for all abilities. Return home.
