Club Rides – Sunday 29th Jan
This week we’re trying to have more groups leaving Maindy in order to get a better size.
The slow group- Maindy – Flats – Newport – Usk via flood road – Cafe – Caerleon- Cardiff via A48, Flats or Basseleg + pen y lan
The intermediate group led by Martyn Lock- Maindy, Wentloog, Nash, Whitson, Redwick, Undy, Caldicot, Chepstow(cafe), Crick, Langstone, Castleton, Maindy. 62 miles flat out and flat back. I know it`s a little bit further but the route is flat all the way bar for a little climb out of Caldicot.
The middle group – Maindy – flats- Newport – ShireNewton – Usk – Home
The fast group led by Darren Gill – Maindy – flats-Newport – Newport flats – Chepstow – Usk via B4235 Climb (brings you onto the top of Shirenewton (cafe) – Newport- Home.
Ian’s faster group, leaving at 9:15am.
