On a day when most of Wales was either at or supporting another slightly larger sporting event, a full field gathered for Cardiff Ajax’s open 10 mile time trial.

This year’s race saw the return of local lad Luke Rowe, fresh from his Team Sky exploits, to show the rest of us how we should ride the R10/16a course at Cwmcarn: the last indeed shall be first in his case with a cracking 20:07 in less than ideal, early season, conditions.
